mike, me, keith at the 8mile watching the sun go down. that was a one of the best days of my life also the farthest i have been from civilization. the hike in the first 8 miles were the most mentaly and physicaly challenging of anyhike i had been on. the clearest my mind has been in ages. we drank out of small streams, that afternoon i fell asleep in a vally after getting water. i woke up and the air was golden the sun about to go down, the shadows long, the earth was so soft under me, the air so sweet and the sound of water flowing and the air gently moving the leavs around me.undiscribable. the earth spoke to me. it was eden.


	ok this was the kauai trip, a 5 day hikeing and camping extravaganza! we flew there on thursday and stayed on the garden isle till tuesday. it was a bast. on day tree we went to the waimea, it was gorgious. this was the kauai group. we rented a car and a truck. the truck came in handy with all our gear. it was the most beatuful places iv ever been! i see why somany movies are filmed here, manytimes i felt like i was in a move,but not even a 20 foot screen with tecnicolor and suround sound could express half the beauty we lived in for 5 days.

	this was the trail head. this was after we had got back and were packing up, cleaned up and about to drive out of there. the beauty of the island changed us, for months after that trip i still had images of the blue and green burned in my mind. LONG LIVE THE GOLDNUGET! our girls on the mexican at the trail head.
